For our customers who want all the features and protection of the Britax Boulevard, but need a smaller seat for their children, their car or their budget, we offer the Britax Diplomat. The Diplomat is compact and easier to fit in smaller cars, but features the same features as the Boulevard in a tighter, more compact, more affordable package. It uses the same infant insert and TSIP (True Side Impact Protection) as the Britax Boulevard, while being a smaller, lighter seat.

The Diplomat features their Versa-Tether system, as well as their TSIP, adjustable 5 point harness, one handed seat recline adjustment, and their Britax standard easy to wash, easy to use fabric cover. The Diplomat also comes with the flexible push-button LATCH system.

The Diplomat is recommended for children 5-35lbs as a rear facing seat, and for children 20-40 pounds as a forward facing seat. We put this car seat alongside the Roundabout: at the top of the list to carry your child from infancy through to their first forward-facing booster seat.
